Undergraduate students are invited to apply for research assistant positions in the Close Relationships and Healthy Living Lab. Students who work in the lab can earn course credit for Research in Social/Personality Psychology (PSY 294 and PSY 494).
Students who work in the lab may have the opportunity to apply for SOURCE funding to conduct their own research projects. Check out this link for more information about SOURCE.
Requirements:
- Minimum GPA of 3.00
- Punctual, organized, reliable, motivated
- Available to work 6 to 9 hours per week
- Some semesters I need people to be able to work some evenings or weekends to collect participant data
Potential Responsibilities:
- Experimenting (meeting with research participants and running them through a protocol)
- Observational video coding (watching videos, rating participant behaviors based on a a codebook)
- Creating recruitment materials and/or recruiting participants
- Data cleaning or data management
- Training other research assistants
- Finding and summarizing research literature
- Creating posters or other presentations
